Check the Safety Relief Valve: Ensure the safety check valve at the cold inlet is working to prevent hot water backflow and empty tank dry firing.
Change the Gas Diaphragm Regularly: Replacing the water diaphragm yearly ensures the gas heater ignites even with low water pressure.
