Water Not Heating (Electric Heater): This indicates a burnt heating element (heating rod) or a faulty thermostat. The electrical supply and components must be tested.
Gas Heater Won't Ignite: The issue could be low water pressure, dead batteries, or a worn-out diaphragm (جلدة الرداخ) that fails to open the gas valve. Replace batteries first.
Water Leakage from the Heater: If the leak comes from the electric heater's tank, it could be punctured due to rust. If it's from the connections, the washers can be replaced.
Gas Heater Shuts Off During Use: This could be due to a blocked flue chimney or a faulty thermocouple safety sensor shutting off the gas flow.

Set Thermostat to 50-60°C: Setting electric heaters to extremely high temperatures accelerates mineral scaling and corrodes the tank and element.
Replace the Magnesium Anode Rod Annually: Replace the anode rod regularly. It attracts minerals and prevents the steel tank from rusting and leaking.
Check the Safety Relief Valve: Ensure the safety check valve at the cold inlet is working to prevent hot water backflow and empty tank dry firing.
Change the Gas Diaphragm Regularly: Replacing the water diaphragm yearly ensures the gas heater ignites even with low water pressure.
